Goodwins Law Corporation was proud to present this illuminating Seminar titled ‘Modern Warfare & Cybersecurity: Legal & Other Challenges’ by our very own Chairman, Dr Toh See Kiat.
The topic is apt, as is evident with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)’s recent move to establish the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS), which reinforces the increasing importance of cybersecurity in the interest of the digital domain.
Here at Goodwins, we have a niche practice in Technology, Electronic Transactions and Intellectual Property law. Spearheaded by our Chairman Dr Toh, we have been engaged by governments to advise on and draft IT-related legislation including eCommerce and cybercrime. We also regularly advise technology start-ups on various projects pertaining to FinTech, digital payment tokens, technology development, Web 3, AI and blockchain projects, EduTech and AgriTech.
We were elated that many of our invited guests could make it for this Seminar. Our guests were from various industries, such as AgriTech, FinTech, Cybersecurity, James Cook University, Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC), Parliament of Singapore as well as Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham) and Australian High Commission.
