Arrival of the New Colombo Plan Scholars

It was a joy to welcome the first group of New Colombo Plan (NCP) Scholars to Goodwins Law Corporation. Relaunched in 2014, the NCP is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to broaden Australian undergraduates’ knowledge and cultural appreciation of the Indo-Pacific Region as well as assist the NCP Scholars in embarking on a rewarding and challenging workplace experience in the Region.
The NCP Scholars come from universities all over Australia, such as the University of Tasmania, University of Wollongong and the University of Queensland. They will be reading law at the local universities such as the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore Management University (SMU) for a year and in between, they will also be doing internships at various law firms such as Goodwins Law Corporation. We at Goodwins Law Corporation look forward to welcoming more of our dear Australian counterparts and juniors in the coming months.
